Nordic Pulse Grooming Report

News:

Saturday January 31: Yesterday we refreshed Upper Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to Aspen Post Office and did trail maintenance on Moore Loop 20. Last night we groomed High School Loop 30 with new skate lanes and classic tracks. Thursday we were able to groom the Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to Emma, including all soft surface trails, Jaffee spur, Basalt/Snowmass (Holland Hills), Roaring Fork Club and Grange Ranch. Conditions are fast and firm system wide with thin and variable snow, including sections which are completely melted. Today we will groom Maroon Creek Loop 50 and refresh Moore Loop 20. It is still too thin for classic tracks on the Aspen Golf Course but there is excellent skate skiing available. Use caution as the trails begin to melt out again with warm and sunny days, and expect thin and variable conditions on all trails with classic tracks melting out in areas on Owl Creek Trail. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course is open daily from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
