News:
Friday January 30: Yesterday we were able to groom the Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to Emma, including all soft surface trails, Jaffee spur, Basalt/Snowmass (Holland Hills), Roaring Fork Club and Grange Ranch as well as packing Maroon Creek Club Loop 50. Conditions are thin and variable and you should get out there and ski it while it's good! Today we will groom upper Rio Grande Trail from Aspen Post Office to Stein Park. We now have classic tracks on the High School Loop 30, Moore Loop 20, Marolt Loop 40, Owl Creek Trail and Teaching Loop 00. It is still too thin for classic tracks on the Aspen Golf Course but there is excellent skate skiing to be had. Use caution as the trails begin to melt out again with warm and sunny days, and expect thin and variable conditions on all trails. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course is open daily from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
