News:
Saturday February 14: Happy Valentine's Day. About an inch of new snow on the ground this morning - not enough to groom, but we are happy to get it. Yesterday we groomed Owl Creek Trail from W Buttermilk Road to Two Creeks and last night night we groomed the High School Loop 30. This still leaves most trails closed due to excessive melt out from the recent heat wave with the only skiing available on Loop 30 and portions of Owl Creek Trail from W Buttermilk Rd to Cluny Road. Use caution as trails continue to melt and expect thin and variable conditions with exposed bare spots on all open trails. We will reduce grooming frequency once again to minimize the impact on our thin base depth, waiting for new snow which is forecast to arrive mid-week. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates and trail closures. ** Sunday's Ski For The Pass Nordic race has been cancelled due to inadequate snow.** ## AVSC Progressive Bonfire Dinner taking place this evening has been shifted from Aspen Nordic/Golf to AVSC High School Loop 30, more info available at teamavsc.org. ## The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course is open daily from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
