News:
Tuesday February 10: A HISTORIC day for US cross country skiing with an Olympic Medal in the Men's Classic Sprint this morning. And also another warm day here in the Elk Mountains. Most trails are closed now due to excessive melt out and we have continued to halt all grooming until the forecasted storm gives a bit more snow, currently expected to start tomorrow. The best skiing is can be found on the High School Loop 30 between 9am to 1pm. Use caution as trails continue to melt and expect thin and variable conditions with exposed bare spots on all open trails. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates and trail closures. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course is open daily from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
