Wednesday Feb 4: The Masters ski program continues today at noon at the Aspen Nordic Center with todays program focused on skate skiing technique. We are heading into another period of very warm temps and no snow. As such, we will be back to limited grooming to conserve our snowpack until the next forecasted snow which is next Tuesday. Last night we groomed the skate lanes on the High School Loop 30 and Marolt Loop 40 after shoveling in hot spots on Aspen Golf Loop 10 during the day. Today we will continue shoveling hot spots and maintaining the trails as best as possible, focusing our efforts on Loops 10 and 30. Use caution as things melt out, and expect thin and variable conditions on all trails with the best skiing on the High School Trails Loop 30. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates.
