Sunday December 21: We need some help from Mother Nature. Temps are expected to be warm for the next four days with no snow and above freezing at night. We still have skiing available on High School Loop 30 and Aspen Golf Loop 10 but we have freeze thaw conditions. Yesterday afternoon we groomed Loop 10 and results were marginal. Today we will try and fill hot spots Loop 10 this morning and see if grooming will help later in the day (we are running out of snow to groom). Our snowpack is too thin to set classic track and we will continue with reduced grooming frequency to minimize our impact on the thin snowpack and concentrate our efforts on Loop 10 and Loop 30. Check the Nordic Pulse App for updated grooming info and please use caution as thin and variable conditions should be expected. The Nordic Center is open from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
